Spring break is quickly approaching, and we are here to share some of our favorite travel tips for breakers everywhere.

1. Book Early

This point is obvious, but it's an important one. Have your heart set on that hot tub suite? Want to make sure you get the best view and easy access to the parking lot? Whatever the case may be, it's never too early to book your vacation spot and hotel room.

2. Be Prepared

Do your research on your chosen destination and prepare yourself for all of the worst-case scenarios. Pack an extra set of clothes in your carry on. Take additional chargers and snacks. Don't forget to check the requirements for the airports you may be flying in and out of. Some airports require two forms of ID where others do not. You can never be too prepared for travel, especially when flying.

3. Plan for Downtime

It is called vacation for a reason. Plan some serious downtime during your spring break. It may look fun, planning all the excursions and destinations, but don't' forget to take time for yourself. Time to relax and unwind.

4. Pack the Essentials

It's hard packing in the winter. Especially if you are traveling to an equally cold location. Sweaters and boots take up a lot of suitcase space. Take a few sweaters in solid colors that can be swapped out and dressed up or down. Try to limit your shoes and save even more space by taking travel size toiletry bottles.

5. Check the Weather

Double, triple check the forecast. We all know that Spring weather is nothing if not unpredictable. It can be a nightmare if you are left in a winter storm with no coat or if you experience an unseasonally hot day with no relief like shorts or a t-shirt.
